So if been meaning to make a few bags for quite a while.. I got round to making a leather and canvas tote for off the bike a few months ago, but now I'm feeling like something a little more ambitious.
First drawings
I basically want to make a bag that definitely fills a need that i have. i used to have a chrome metropolis, which occasionally got filled to the brim and was great, but more often than not was half or near empty. so i want to make a bag that can handle any sort of size.
Features-
roll top, securable at any point.
U lock holster
Padded strap and backing

Desperately after a 54cm (or around that) beater/cheap track or road frame for a mate.
He had some bad luck in Norwich, went away to visit some family in Bath for a few weeks and returned to find his step dad had sold his bike, so I'm building him something new.

Red and white fixed gear, possibly a trek? Passed me at the top of Earlham road with flashy lights on the back of his helmet. Also a green and white mash near pilch/gap at about 3:20am last night.

Ill have some up for sale soon! Sewing two layers of Velcro and webbing can prove fiddly but it's not too hard in the grand scheme of sewing

I have the same thing after riding fixed ages and going out on my road bike. A bit like your legs slipping the top a bit? I get used to it after a couple miles though but I deinitely know what you mean.

I painted the wheels on my bianchi pista with Montana Black graffiti paint a couple months ago. Sanded them down, masked them and did about three fine coats. The breaking surface obviously rubbed off, but no cracks dings or chips to speak of yet.
