Something light, carbon maybe. On a bit of a budget so maybe Chinese carbon.

Re-Joined the Cannondale club. Bought myself a CAAD 10 after lusting after one for ages.

It's the Liquigas colourway which isn't my favourite but beggars can't be choosers. It's growing on me anyway.

Planned changes are first of all reduce that stack and chop steerer. Hopefully upgrade wheelset, if I find a good deal maybe carbon? also maybe upgrade shifters and derailleurs in time.

Eventually would like to get it under 8kg which I think is doable.

Ok would split this into wheelset and bike.

Never thought I'd sell this one but unfortunately the needs must.

It's a 57cm Ambrosio Stelvio Carbon frame with Look 1" threadless forks, aluminium lugs, carbon tubes lovely features like the wish bone stays.

It has a full 8 speed Shimano Ultegra 600 Tricolor groupset.

Selle Italia Flite Ti saddle.

This is an awesome HHSRB and turns a lot of heads, I'm sad to see it go but I'm moving house and simply dont have the space

Wheelset sold so now full bike excluding wheels. Just whack a wheelset on its an awesome bike for cheap.

A friend of mine is looking for a decent bike for commuting, she's looking for something around the £80 mark.

She's 5 foot 6, just wondering if anyone had anything that might fit the bill?

Hmm maybe, problem is I'm using cycle to work scheme and it's over 1000...plus i've ordered my certificate already for the London Road

Bit over my budget and as much as I'd love it I think hydro might be overkill for me.

Yeah I checked out the Arkose 2, didn't quite tick all the boxes for me, plus I fancied brifters. Put an order down a lime green London Road with Rival in the end. Can't wait seems pretty functional and imo looks pretty cool too.

So I'm looking at getting a commuter/do it all bike and i'm selling a few of my other bikes (my Donohue and HHSRB :,( ) so I can hopefully afford a new one. I've been looking at the Pinnacle Arkose 3 (£855) and the Planet X London Road with Rival (£799).
At the moment I'm swinging towards the Planet X. Any suggestions either regarding these two or any others around the same price point?
The bike will mainly be used for commuting, the occasional light tour, a bit of light off roading.

Need either a single or pair of tandem timing chainsets or just a 40t ring for a stronglight timing chainset with that weird BCD.

Picked this beast up on eBay and did it up. It's a 1996 Dawes Discovery twin, it may not be pretty but it was comfy and functional.

It has just finished carrying us from Lands End to John O'Groats with only a few horrible mechanical problems....

Looking for some ergo grips (Ergon or similar) for LEJOG, heard these are comfy for touring with flat bars.
