So this happened on the way home yesterday, could here a really high pitch creaking/squeeking noise all the way home and i was thinking "best check that when i get in" as i turn the second to last corner on my commute my foot feels as if its unclipped without the click of it actually unclipping and i look down to find a whole crank arm dangling off my shoe, luckily I was just trundling along and managed to pull over and stop without issue.

Think the threads on the axle might be stripped which obviously fucking sucks if it is the case especially as I was going to sell them soon anyway.

So satisfied with how this lined up.

What was the verdict on colour vs black and white? Sorry if i missed that

it 100% is not a G5, they have the 1 large fan rather than the 2 smaller ones that appear on the G5.

When they were bought they were custom made to order so I assume (like everything we use here) they specced them as highly as possible.

If its got a decent amount of RAM and works well as it is and they've happened to leave photoshop CS3 on there I may just leave it and use it purely for editing images, in which case I guess it doesn't need to be updated?

To be honest i much prefer the look of these to the current space bin like models, but I suppose they are at least 4x the size.

I've been offered a free (first gen I think) mac Pro from work, and I'm trying to figure out if its worth bothering with it, its likely got photoshop cs3 on it already but will that run photoshop CC or is it too old?

I guess the web browsers it supports will be fairly out dated?
