@dazzrie @freezing77 doe both of these fixes require the use of the thread on the cage boss? Cus if so there are bolts in them, one ablut 1 cm out and one flush to the frame.

Issue 1: the frame was advertised cheaply and there was a small reason, the bottle cage bosses on the downtube are spinning in the frame, theres a bottle cage half attached. Its a fairly nice carbon one but luckily we figured a way to hack saw it so that we could just slip it off over the bolt for now to get it out of the way.
Does anyone have reccomendations about somewhere to get the bosses fixed? Within london ideally.

SO firsts first, today I set out buildig it up with my newly aquired sram red group and rotor cranks, luckily the frame came with the correct BB installed for the rotors so I didnt have to build it up with the Red Cranks that I got with the group these will probably be sold onto a friend who wants to get the compact versions to replace his non compacts, for now however I will use the chainrings.

So I just took delivery yesyerday of my first ever carbon frame, having had my Caad 7 for a little while now i've realised that its too small (and not the size that it was sold as) so that will be going up for sale.
Build spec list atm is as follows
Frameset: Planet X Nanolight
Groupset: Sram Red
Cranks: ROTOR 3D
Seat: Selle Italia SLREverything else is pretty much undecided so suggestions are welcome, especially for wheelsets as thats the next big move on the cards.
I have enough parts to have it built up and running from the CAAD so i will swap what I need over to get it on the road and slowly upgrade as and when I find what I want.
The aim is for this to be sub 7 eventually.

Thanks for the pictures! Looks good! Im guessing the dry bag is fully removable from the harness? At this price I might just order one and give it a try!
First time for me doing any touring this year so just looking for some cheaper alternatives to get me started. If anyone has any recommendations for kit then I'm all ears!

Yes I may have done! Appologies, but its gone to a good home, its replacing a Campag record group that is (for lack of better words) shagged. Cant wait for some smooth shifting and use of all 20 gears!
