I find it a bit rude that people are debating the merit in OP spending his money how he sees fit, in his own Current Projects thread.
Come on, I don't give a flying fuck what people want to spend their cash on but if you're gonna tell people on public forum! ( especially this forum) that you're dropping 6g's on a steel frameset from a builder who has the equivalent of a live, laugh, love website, you've got to expect a tiny bit of ribbing.

Teachers still seems readily available over here in France, there's quite a big market for blended whisky over here (especially shit ones with cheesy Scottish names).
The arse has completely fallen out of the blended market in the UK, I wouldn't be surprised if they keep teachers for markets where the name still has some prestige. They might also just be upping the output of ardmore single malt which is lowering the the amount of decent stuff for teachers.
It might also just be a temporary thing whilst they up production in general.

Looks the job but I don't know anyone with a printer.
@Chaley, this'll probably be the way I go, was just hoping for something a bit more elegant. Thought shimano would just have a cap for it, pretty shit design flaw imo.

Does a cover exist that you can put on the connectors of a shimano battery mount when the battery isn't attached or do I just need to bodge something?
If I'm just popping in the shops quickly or locking up somewhere I can see the bike I leave the battery on but if I'm gonna be leaving it locked for a while I'll take the battery with me. If it rains though the prongs get flooded and it's a fucking ballache trying to get it dry and the battery just cuts out if it isn't properly dry.

Things were easier the first time round in London, we were definitely on the same page.
But we've gone from residential forest gate to renting a flat in lyon on a road bang in town with with everything, markets great shops bars etc (there's 4 fucking cheese shops on our road alone).
We're aligned in the sense that we both want to stay central and not live outside the city, we saw a massive house only 10 mins cycle from where we are now which I thought was great but was a 20 minute walk from the nearest bakery. My wife said non!
So the lid on yours isn't like this?
