Couple of nice wheels I need gone asap before I don't want to sell them anymore. Can meet at highbury/stratford or anywhere within reason the tube with the wheels but speakers are collection only from Stratford.
Planet X A57, very true, seen little use. The freehub (shimano) has some small nicks but nothing that affects use once the cassette is fitted. Rim tape fitted. £65 the pair?
Mavic MA2 rims on campy hubs with nice campy skewers and a campy 8 speed cassette. Stunning condition, stainless spokes, rims perfectly true. Front hub could do with a regrease and the cone nuts tightening up as there's a few mm of play(nothing major at all, just the nuts that came loose) I gave them a quick wipe over and they look excellent, I imagine with a good polish they will look near enough new. I haven't ridden these so can't promise the cassette is perfect but it looks fine. Such a lovely wheelset that I will certainly regret selling. £95
Mavic opensport rear on a tiagra hub and 10 speed cassette. Built by raleigh sticker on them (lol) Rim has never seen a brake and is perfect. £70
Rigida rim on a histop coaster brake hub. Rim is true, hub is untested but it seems to all be there. £40
And finally, a pair of large floor standing Acoustic research 3 way speakers. Fully working, in excellent condition, some minor marks here and there but nothing unsightly or noticeable. The grill cloths need a good clean. The pushed in dome on one midrange driver can easily be pulled out and I will do so. These are very heavy, quality loudspeakers(made in england) and they sound excellent, not to be compared with the crap being sold at richer sounds now. Looking for £100, when you hear them you will understand why.
Pics just uploading now.

Alkali.
Worth and value are not the same thing (though I treated it as though they were for the purposes of responding to your 'layman's' use of english). Value / market value / open market value is what you would expect something to sell for after proper marketing. You would expect a number of people to be interested at market value. Worth is the value to a particular person or group of people.
Normally if something has a worth to you below market value you will not buy it because the market will outbid you. Normally if something has a worth to you above market value you will buy it because you can match the market, and outbid the market if necessary.
A crate of caviar is worth nothing to a vegan as food.
A crate of caviar has a market value of (pulls figure out of thin air) £10k. This is what they usually sell for to restaurants / hotels (the only people routinely buying caviar by the crate).
A crate of caviar maybe worth £6k to a vegan who buys and sells food for a living (he works on a 40% profit margin.)
A crate of caviar might be worth £500m to a russian billionaire who has a month to live but is stuck on a desert island with no access to food other than coconuts.
As you amply demonstrate the worth of a used pair of gucci knickers will vary massively from one person to another. But the value of a used pair of gucci knickers is not that variable, it is what you can reasonably expect them to sell for after proper marketing. Whether this is £5 to someone who is very poor but loves gucci or £500 (because there are lots of bizarre pant men who will pay that for used knickers) I do not know. What I do know is just because one bizarre pant man offers and pays £500 it does not mean that they have a value of £500.
Jesus, wish I had enough spare time to be writing essays like this on a bike forum.

Had a close call on bow flyover, cnut in a zafira overtook literally mm's from me even tho there was plenty of space to move whilst he Overtook. Caught him at the lights, banged on his window and told him he almost knocked me off, his reply of "oh i'm sorry man" wasn't sincere enough to stop me hurly every profanity i've learned in my 18 years of existence in his ugly face.
Felt good to vent, but in hindsight it was ridiculous how close he was.

Selling on behalf of a friend. Bought new and ridden for less than 100 miles. Full 105 group set, seat has small tears as shown. Schwable puncture resistant tires fitted from new. Was covered in protective clear stickers so is practically like brand new. Large frame, sizing guide shown here.
http://www.giant-road-bike.com/index.php/bike-fitting-issues/£750 takes it, you will not be disappointed. Make me an offer, I don't bite. Will donate a nice amount to the forum.
Located in Stratford, will obviously give a receipt. Plenty of rep on here.

along regents canal in haggerston. just watched a guy zip past on a De Rosa road bike he definitely hasn't paid for himself... shame..
Lol
That was me mate, that rosa is my baby, nothing dodgy at all. I can understand why you would assume it was nicked tho, I'm not exactly what you'd expect to see riding it. If you see me again give us a shout! -
