Lost interest and decided to buy a Corvette C3 as a daily driver. At one point I considered weighing the caddy in for scrap but I've now accepted that its a long term project that might take years to complete but one day it should be done. The big motivation killer is that I had a few friends who promised to help with the welding and so far haven't even bothered to come and look at it, if I could find someone reliable and reasonably priced who could get it welded up I could crack on with the rest(engine, wiring and interior) in no time and she would be rolling again.

Serious question, what are you guys locking all these lovely bikes with for them to be stolen so easily? I know a cordless angle grinder will take a D lock off in under 30 seconds but that would probably be enough to deter the casual thieves with a pair of bolt cutters...
