Ok, have no experience at all with carbon forks, but this is what I was expecting. So scrap, and looking for another fork!

I'm building up a beater for one of my friends. Aluminium frame with carbon forks that have the following 'problem'. Is this safe to ride? The cracks open up a little bit when pressure is applied on the fork blades, but they still feel quite good. I removed the paint on the metal part of the fork with a dremel tool...

Ride it or scrap it?

As said, iconic Belgian brand with some great stories around it. Frames are good but nothing special. I just like the combination of red with white panels, black and gold luglining and chrome I guess :). But one of them will go when this one is finished.

The small one is hanging on my wall, cause it's too small. The big one gets ridden from time to time!

All Japanese Panasonic frame with aero downtube/seattube/seatstays/chainstays from Tange tubing and high quality Shimano EF dropouts. Serial number defines the frame to march '82. Date stamps on the dropouts refer to '81.

Frame has been blasted and clearcoated and would make an awesome rat build. All the signs of rust that you can see are under the shiny fresh clearcoat, which is in great condition! Frame hasn't been built up since treatment so threads might need chasing. No dings, dents or other defects. Like it or not but I love the signs of rust and the raw look of the brazed parts. A pity that it's too small for me, otherwise i would ride the shit out of it myself.
