I'm so glad I saw the message in time, the mill hill experience was pretty unforgettable, seeing the moon in that level of detail was astounding, and your guided tour was great fun. Thanks for organizing and putting all that effort in, and thanks to Marco as well, was a lovely guy.

Durano Plus are great, heavy but unkillable. Never tried the normal Duranos but will avoid in future.

Yeah, swapped over from much thinner nylons for winter, the Durano plus are top - I wondered if the Durano skids would be even better, but happy as it stands anyway.

Regarding the removal of Dancingjames' post with that facebook group owner's details - is there a blanket ban on posting personal information on the forum, or is it still case by case? I was mainly thinking that if someone reports an incident with a driver and someone has their personal info, mob justice can happen pretty quickly, with nothing more than someone's story to go on.

I think it's partly about timing as well. I don't know the exact number of lights I pass, but on my road bike I can do Finchley road all the way from Fortune Green to Adelaide road in about 5 minutes, with a clear bus lane. If the timing is wrong, it's more than twice that.

What about putting grease/lube on the chain? I know that sometimes that ends up picking up more grit, wondered how frequently that's necessary?

damn - I ended up paying full price! Still, very pleased with the difference it's made to my legs the day after a run, much less achey.

Being hooted at might be unpleasant, but being less than a foot away from an HGV with wheels up to your waist is undoubtedly worse.

Spent far more than I planned on, got an aeropress, lots of coffee, some of that nuun recovery stuff, a t-shirt and a whole bunch of details from frame builders. good fun

I dunno why you guys have been taking so many black cabs, but 90% of minicabs I've taken have had drivers from the subcontinent. admittedly, I usually take them late at night, much the worse for wear, maybe the racist ones only work in the day?
