In general i'm under impression that soldiers in Russia are treated like shit. Not just by superiors in the field but by general population - they seem to get no respect at all.
Here's yet another video (wink) where Russian soldier who lost his legs is not allowed onto the bus. Living in a wheelchair in Russia in a nutshell.

Roughly 500 shots to a flipped truck just to make sure Russians get what they deserve. Every single Russian there is a criminal and I don't see anything bad in eradicating them - in fact I donate regularly to an organisation that sponsors Ukrainian squads like this. Feels surreal to spend euros on killing but hey - we just don't wanna get occupied again.
And no, there was no gore in the video - I've posted it because I was impressed about fast timing - all in / all out and a very good equipment the guys got and the fact that they're quite far behind enemy lines, roughly 100km if i'm not mistaken. That alone is quite interesting - partisan war and stuff.
From description of the video:
There have been a lot of rumors circulating among Russian soldiers
stating that highly NATO trained Ukrainian special forces operate deep
withing their held territory and well this video seems to confirm
that.We can talk about big picture like energy prices and politics and stuff but on the ground it's a foreigner entering your homeland and killing your people.
I also think that if you distance yourself from all the atrocities of war then you start rationalising stuff like "peace talks" and "giving Putin what he wants" just for the sake of your energy bill.
But yes, as somebody pointed out previously (or maybe it was you), point was taken and i'm a little bit more careful with what I post. This video is totally safe imho.

One of them has been punctured - it's a tiny hole, it sealed and worked fine for a couple of hundred km's then started leaking again. Then sealed again then started leaking after some time again. I've tried patching it with a tube patch but it still leaked. With tubes or proper patching it would be totally fine but don't feel like messing with it anymore. The other one is perfectly fine. I've rode around 2000 km with them.
€50 + €10 for shipping / or €60 and free shipping.
whichever you like!

Speaking of tires - I wonder how true are tests on bicyclerollingresistance website
What got my attention is that these schwalbe thunder burts have a 20.2w rolling resistance

While these rene herses that appear to be almost slick have 21.2w rolling resistance.

Some random occurrences and incidents tell a different story.
I guess they sweat quite a lot to keep business as usual.Like this one:
- Gazprom cancels dividend for the first time since 1998
- Stock tumbles 30%
- Insider trading yada yada
- Gazprom change their mind and decide to pay dividend
- Stock rises by 40%
Or this one:
Ravil Maganov, Chairman of the Board of Lukoil, Russia’s 2nd-largest company & one of the world’s largest oil producers, has died after falling out of a window in Moscow - Gazprom cancels dividend for the first time since 1998

Ukraine has created a fleet of decoys resembling advanced US rocket
systems that has tricked Russian forces into wasting expensive
long-range cruise missiles on dummy targets, Washington Post reports. The wooden decoys are indistinguishable from the real thing to UAVs,
who transmit their locations to naval cruise missile carriers in the
Black Sea.After a few weeks in the field, the decoys drew at least 10 Kalibr
cruise missiles. The destroyed decoys may partially account for
Russia’s inflated statistics of destroyed HIMARS. -

As Europe's energy costs skyrocket, Russia is burning off large
amounts of natural gas, according to analysis shared with BBC News.Experts say the gas would previously have been exported to Germany.
They say the plant near the border with Finland, is burning an
estimated $10m (£8.4m) worth of gas every day.
Russians are against the war if ethnic Russians have to fight it.
