Yeah that could look very cool spinning, might cause a epileptic fit as I ride past though. Not sure if I want to to be obviously a vinyl label or not

Right so I made a disk wheel for lulz and I don't think it looks to bad :-)
Now I want to decorate it , i was thinking of making it look like a vinyl disk and printing the center arework of a album i like and sticking it on around the center if you know what i mean, would like to see what you guys have done. drawing on your frame or wheels whatever show me your creative ideas,any ideas welcome

And the final result is.... Excuse the messy room! Not long moved house and all that jazz. Just need to cut a hole for a pump and got some decals for it aswell to spruce it up

Other side of the wheel is taped on with electrical tape

To stop the chain rubbing on the disk wheel I then used some builders tape to fasten the spokes to the cover to bring it in a bit, also this would help strengthen then disk

Then the black electrical tape goes on. Blends into the rim quite well I think.

As you can see the hole I cut with my dremal ensures the plastic is snug around the cog thread

And the inside with glue

Right so today I got home from work and decided to make a better disk wheel. This time it's half the thickness and the weight. Got to upload pics one by one cuz I'm on my ipad.

So here you can see how I overlapped the pieces and then use PVC plumbers cement to glue it. I then used some black electrical tape to neaten up the other side

Going too look a beast from the looks of the cockpit lol uploading some pics on how I made my disk wheel soon if you are interested how I made it :-)
