Having family both in China and Germany, the main difference in treatment seems to be that people are taken to hospital much earlier in those countries than here. Usual caveat, this is purely anecdotal etc but seems to make sense given that people are advised to basically sweat it out here until it gets much worse, as in Boris’ case.

I used rokas.london after @Velocio recommended him. The first gas engineer I contacted couldn’t find the problem causing my boiler to lose pressure.
Cannot say enough good things about Rokas, thanks for the recommendation again! Absolutely stellar service, Rokas took his time and methodically found two potential leaks, one in the heat exchanger itself and the other bear a radiator valve. Before leaving He gave me clear instructions as to how to test over the coming days which of the two leaks causes the pressure loss.
The guy I had in first didn’t even bother looking as closely and told me to just repressurise my boiler until I see water damage somewhere, which would have probably killed my boiler.
Rokas is also a very nice guy and he was wearing gloves and mask throughout the repair.

Quotes the origin of it in an article Cummings wrote in 2013:
“ In 2013, in his 237 page-long paper Some Thoughts on Education and Political Priorities, Cummings expressed his own fascination with evolutionary ideas in economics and developed the notion that computer science and ‘genetic algorithms’ could combat “bioterrorism or pandemics” using “artificial immune systems” and “agent based models”. Cummings directly quotes another New York University professor, Joshua M. Epstein, and his 2009 paper Modelling to Contain Pandemics which discusses the “classical epidemic modelling” of the 1920s which revealed “the threshold nature of epidemics and explained ‘herd immunity’, where the immunity of a subpopulation can stifle outbreaks, protecting the entire herd.”

Thought this was interesting regarding the herd immunity idea

America is saved, Jared Kushner had taken over the corona portfolio. After bringing peace to the Middle East, that should be easy for golden boy.

It does look good although the cheapo one i have has grip bars for neutral grip which is easier on the shoulder for people with rotator cuff issues

I think it’s important to stress that you should only do pull-ups with strict form and very slowly to minimise the risk of falling and also the risk of shoulder injury, particularly if you are new to pull ups. Kipping and cross fit style pull-ups can indeed make a door frame pull up bar move around. Strict slow pull ups should be fine. I got my bar from Aldi last week and it’s been great so far (they even deliver). I am 85kg and do about 60 a day in sets of 10-15, hope to get that up to a 100 soon. Pulling is important for shoulder health. Would also recommend face pulls with a resistance band for external rotation.

Why are things always more complicated than they appear? Now you made me feel bad about having said that. I stand by it though, ill health is no excuse for being a complete dick who exploits people’s fears and anxieties. I don’t think that morally we can always draw a line between someone’s professional and private lives.

Finally an article arguing that the precautionary principle should be applied to mask wearing guidance for the public
