Two weeks on... Managed to get my paws on some 3t funda pro forks off the bay for much cheapness, problem, they're painted white as off a cervelo rs, solution, wetndry paper and some blisters..?? Question, id like to replace the 3t decal and the long strip down outside of fork leg, ideally in black and if possible with a reflective finish kind of scotchlite style, if this is possible any ideas who could make the decals up?

Hopefully getting my hands on a painted carbon fork that id like to remove the paint from and then clear coat, read an old thread on here recommending wet and dry which ill tackle if necessary but was hoping someone had discovered a less time consuming/potential for over sanding method in the intervening period, any ideas?

Glad to hear that, the thought there was something similar but slightly different and certainly more scarce so obviously better would certainly prove to be a seed of annoyance in my increasingly ocd head. Plans are a changing slightly, managed to pick up a set of brand new double fixed miche wheels on nice black rigida rims so the afore mentioned super record/cxp33 combo will be hitting the classifieds soon as I have boxes to post them in. Still no forks, still hopeful of good news from dammit.....

Hey Dick, that is a sweet bike, the silver cranks work well too, I plan on going with black but least now I know if nothing turns up...realise the capo was an off the peg type and likely a fair bit cheaper to buy new but to my naked and untrained eye there doesn't appear to be much to separate the two, both are caad5 so aside from the geometry is there anything obvious?

Unlikely 2nd dibs on cranks if TWJ doesn't take.
