This frame has been custom ordered by a Dutch pro bicycle shop from the Dutch Titanium frame maker Gilbertson, for testing purposes. It is handcrafted from Grade 9 Titanium, 3AL/2.5V alloy.
From the details, the joints, the ends, the welding you can easily tell it's been a work of an expert with solid background, and not a 2 year ago founded Chinese factory that is ready to change profile with the wind. The frame was welded in a Russian factory with long history in titanium frames, and even longer in aerospace industry. Many well known EU makers order their top range from the same place. These welds should be taught at master builders' workshop. All the above is nothing but my humble opinion, you are welcome to overwrite it with yours.
The bike is not a track racing frame, and has never been intended to be so. It was styled for street use, with rear brake-bridge and brake cable guides on top tube.
The workmanship quality and the sensible, solid tube selection, in line with the size and shape of rear end and the brake bridge elements makes it a high end street specific titanium frame. It is not a conversion of any kind, it was never intended for any other use than street, so please don't compare it with titanium track nor road frames. I respect those preferring track frames and no brakes for the roads, I do use them in certain cases and roads, but the versatility and safety of that is having some reasonable issues.

The frame is brand new, never built, with minor shop-wear.
Guarantee:
I provide 2 years warranty to the first original buyer, confirmed by a guarantee paper shipped together with your frame. In the unlikely event of a problem, it will look like the following. You document the circumstances of the problem as accurately with pictures as you can. Send it to me. If the problem is due to regular use, I will approve sending your frame to the Netherlands and provide you with the details. After reparation or replacement the new frame will be shipped back to you. Onwards shipping cost is on you, backwards on us. -
Especially sad with this bike. It belonged to a National Team, it participated in several unrepeatable races around the world. That is the exact reason why the process is slow, we are still debating the new coat in quality and color scheme. So far the bike has been taken apart and the fork sent for re-chroming, as it had some chipping/flaking. Find pictures in the same album. An extra road fork is considered for street use, besides the original.

Up for sale a nice vintage Colnago Pista complete bike.
It used to run in velodromes only, as a workhorse of the Hungarian National Team. For almost 20 years now sits however in a collection.
It has plenty of small paint chips, scratches and tiny surface rust every here and there, especially around the ends and the BB shell, but I decided against restoring it, as the wounds of races kind of qualify for a decent patina in my eyes. Should you need, decals are easy to get on the bay, and the paint scheme is simple too. I might even have the decals if I check it deep enough. The chrome of the fork is also having extensive scratches and some bubbling. Incredible, but it seems to have survived without a dent.Size: ST: 58cm (C-C), TT: 58cm (C-C), HT: 175mm
Parts: Campa Record hubs laced to Ambrosio Metamorphosis tubulars, 170mm Campa Record cranks, 3ttt, Colnago panto stem (red filling color faded): 115mm, 3ttt Colnago panto handlebar: 40cm (C-C), stand-over height: 84cm.Album: Colnago Pista
I know it's steep, but I'm looking for 1200 pounds shipped. I pack in a standard bicycle box with loads of protection all over the bike, and ship it via EMS traceable pack or an international courier, depending on country. Payment preferred through PayPal for buyer protection, but transfer is fine too. Open for some reasonable negotiations.

are these all yours? if so you'll have a pretty good idea what to sell it for, but ya gotta put up a price here...
sure, I have an idea of some more common bikes, and I wouldn't call this one a super rare special one of a kind item, but it's not that widely available either, so I really have no clue how much it worth. I know how much I want for it, just wanted to get some ideas. sorry if that is beyond your tolerance limit.

I wonder what the asking price should be of this Italian titanium horse?
It was made around 2005. Equipped with Campagnolo Centaur 10 speed, the crank is a carbon FSA if I know it well, and the wheels are Mavic Ksyriums. The frame has no dents, repairs, cracks, bends. But has some scratches from normal use, and the common titanium cosmetic problem, the transparent coat peals off around the BB shell and the drop out. Luckily it won't get rusty.
Size: ST: 54cm (C-C), 58 cm (C-T), TT: 56cm.
Stand-over height: 81cm measured above the BB.
It's a sloping frame, more like a 56cm classic.

There were two white electric tapes on the end probably to protect it from scratches while removing wheels. Removal of tapes documented, will upload to album tonight.
