Up for sale a Paletti Meteor, Italian beauty with profiled tubes (crimped like Gilco) and complete Croce d'Aune set. Good condition with some minor paint chips and small scratches, some small peels of decals, some rubbing on parts, but no dings and dents, it is straight. Some touch touch up and some polishing on parts would do miracles. The saddle is NIB, removed from box just for the pictures.

Size: 54cm (C-C) square

Looking for 1100 GBP packed and shipped to UK or EU, other regions inquire please.

Size: ST: 54cm (C-C), TT: 54cm (C-C), HT: 13.5cm, frame end: 130mm, Weight: frame+2 shifter cable adjusters + 4 bottle cage holder screws: 1860g, fork: 580g

Since it is a very special frame, seems like custom order to me, we could say it's unique, built by an Italian master, in NOS condition, with very very minor shop wear, I'd go for 480 GBP shipped to UK&EU, other destinations inquire please. I know it's not a major brand with hundreds of TdF victories, but the quality is superb and there must be people looking for these.

I could imagine it being white, or Grecian White how they called it at Cinelli that time. white is the third coat at present. when I strip the paint, I will try to identify the original coat, if it's still on the frame. however repainting is inevitable if I try to properly treat the rusty areas.
I'd even be happy with decals on the chrome, I prefer that to the Cinelli silver. -

Here is a celebrated frame with some foggy points in her long history.
It is an Italian attic find, unfortunately made it to my hands through an educated middleman, which means it wasn't cheap at all, but I just couldn't resist the challenge of restoring it.
Sorry no pasted pix, only album link, as the picasaweb pix for some reason appear as broken if I paste them. (any solution?)
Cinelli SC
Usually I prefer keeping the historical frames together with their patina, even if they get close to the rat style as I believe their appearance is part of their history, the everyday life and sweat of the previous owner, even more if the frame has a racing past. I have several of these never thought repainting them.
But this Cinelli is a different case. I feel the paint is not original, and the chrome plating was not restored under it. The chromed lugs have extensive surface rust, but the top tube and the right chain-stay have more annoying rust to the point which might pose threat to its structure. I kind of feel that the degrading of the frame can not be stopped without an overall treatment in this case. Opinions really appreciated.
I have a tested and reliable chrome-maker, the only one in the country that still uses copper under the chroming. -

Up for sale a nice Colnago Master Piu frame and Precisa straight fork. Frame is made of Gilco S4 profiled tubes, painted black with rainbow speckle, which is hard to picture, but looks good on the sun.
Size: ST: 57cm (C-C), TT: 56cm (C-C), HT: 16cm, Rear end: 130mm, Fork end: 100mm.
The frame has no damages, dings or dents, but has some paint chips here and there, and some shallow surface rust on the chrome plating of the lugs. I did not remove it to show its real condition.
Italian thread BB and fork.

Looks stunning on some decent wheels, tomorrow will upload some pix with wheels. It's almost a classic, though carbon. Looks like a real handmade stuff from the small series era of carbon frame-building. Sensible cable routing and detailing all around, black faded into natural carbon texture.
NOS condition, no scratch, no damage, no shop-wear. For collectors too.
Asking 420 shipped to EU&UK, 480 to the rest of the world. Takes 4-5 days to arrive, up to one week to the other side of the world. The price won't flex too much, it's very modest already.
