Gluing tubulars is an experience that I would like to not repeat for a few weeks. There's something nicely arts and crafts about it, but aligning to rim is a pain.

Today again, bell no working, brake squeak, the seas part.
We need bells with the sound of a truck braking.

On diamond frame bike I can't lift my legs when I wear a skirt in such a way that my underwear isn't on display to the whole world.

That may just be my skirt choice though...maybe me and Bothwell should have a skirt-off consumer test :P

I am not aware of any cool places where the fixie kidz hang out. There a bike courier company but it's got one employee and he doesn't ride fixed.

I have a Mixte, which means lowish stepover if I do want to wear a skirt, and two straight tube bikes.

The kid carrying bike is a low instep frame, but with 20KG on the back to balance I prefer to be able to put my feet down fast.

What's with people wanting to do everything the same colour in their bikes, it's a bad idea in dressing up humans already (a walking splash of paint as my brother likes to call it) only the walls in the house should be paintmatched :)
