Cha the definition of good may vary but:
School meals during lockdown
Bedroom tax (stupid idea) gets paid for here
We have a government owned functioning public transport company
Environmental protection bill
Paid leave for people that face domestic abuseAnd a voting system that means small parties get a look in.

My mum trims them after flowering by 1/3rd and AGAIN just before spring when the frosts are gone.
Others say trim them just once after flowering. If they get really woody, best to cut them back hard and hope they recover with new growth. If not they are easy to get.
I have a few "rescue" woody ones, have to see how they go...

I am not one of the "all politicians are bad" crowd, if anything I wish more of us would at least join a party. (I did) Vote. Come up with policies.
I mean the Cons would not have such headbanger leaders if they had a lot of members from all over the UK...but they don't. Even the DUP WTF??? Who is even a member there...lots of people are pissed off with them.
BUTTTTTTTTTT it's extremely frustrating as the "bloody" politicians hold us all hostage atm.
-
NI was an afterthought in Brexit anyway... but he believed it.
Egh don't get me started, there IS an NHS plan but with the DUP not sitting it can't be signed off. And cHunt will inflict austerity v2 on everyone...
NHS is a huge mess here, but sure, let's not sit in government and the Cons refuse to delay the election which is going to return DUP as biggest unionist party again.
I mean, it's part their mess with Brexit but again we must suffer 😡

Ultimately a referendum with no plan and no accountability where every campaign can say whatever leads to this.
One of the previous security guys at work voted for it te the NHS. I explained to him 350 million a week in a country of 80 million is easy to get by letting me and others pay a little bit more tax.
I could see he never though about it that way.

Truss's "environmental" guy is trying to bombard more solar panel fields, by rezoning of agricultural land and wants to block even Moggs limited plans.
Same one that is going to drop all the EU rules with no replacement AND the improvement* on the EU agricultural policies by adding funds for farmers to green bits of land...
That's why I think he's out writing in the Grauniad.
*but as much as the EU agricultural policy can suck some countries do pay farmers for green zone, I wish the government would go much further, slap a land tax on private lands not used for farming/nature etc.

May had the same hang-up when she had the HO as brief: Cut immigration, whatever way possible, hostile environment, windrush followed and most people are STILL waiting on their payout for that :(
And then did the occasional progressive thing. She has a weird mix of damaging and progressive behavior...
The Cons really seem to have talked themselves into "just cut immigration" for well over a decade, though the rot set in at the end of Labour too.
So this to me looks like another horrid and damaging way they try to cut immigration.
As if being enslaved/trafficked/being a refugee is anything like "ooh there's a job going to get a visa" immigration...but they don't seem to want to get that. Or maybe they DO and they pick on the least powerful immigrants.
Well, ok then, close the borders completely and see how it goes...

With the thanks you get from the home office omnishambles / gutter press and BrexShit/ randomly changing immigration rules perhaps better this tradedeal happens when the government actually appreciates us Furrin's / the HO is less toxic?
A colleague of mine married his HK partner for which he had to renounce his UK citizenship and get married under EU rules (NI born) cos other his now husband would have been kicked out as May changed the student visa rules.
Also, lol.

Cure, the Japanese movie proper scary.
If you want some ghost stuff from the same director Pulse. Not as coherent a movie bit some proper tense scenes.Tale of two sisters for more traditional fare :)
And of course the Japanese ring Trilogy.
Antichrist has a supernatural elements but it's a pretty downer watch...
A girl walks alone at night, Bram Stoker's Dracula, interview with the Vampire for bitey horror and of course "what we do in the shadows" for comedy horror.
Obsession/videodrome for your more art house horror and shivers is a great gory early cronenberg.
Cabin in the woods for post modern scary stuff.
I need to watch more new movies all these are pretty...old.

Yep that's all true.
It's just rather annoying this stock / global trading all has a large influence on our pensions / certain good commodities and f all is being done.
Even blatant rubbing it is not followed by legal action.
Not sure Labour sees the danger either. I know it's hard to tackle as some of it is a world wide issue, like algorithms trading, but come on...take back control ;)

Farage had referendum results before they were public, his trader made loads that night
Very suspicious as well, never got investigated and it's illegal to pre release results of referendum, they must be fully public or not released.
So it makes me wonder if anybody ever gets done for insider trading in the UK,unless it's been so blatantly stupid and written down you have to admire the stupidity...

People are still blaming the EU over the NI protocol on the local newspaper sites...honestly, it's been nearly 3 years since the "oven ready deal" and 6 since Brexit.
WTF.
