It doesn't get ridden because I prefer my other bikes over this one.
For the winter it was awesome with the 2.1" front tire but after we got rid off the snow it has been laying in the balcony. Lets see if I can find some usage for it, but could be selling for right price;) The only bad thing is that the lacquer has peeled off below the down tube.

I got it build and I also got into a uni. Gotta pay some fees in the fall and somethings need to go. Lets see if there's any interest for the frameset here.

Click the pic for some extra pics. One of the few bikes made for 1996 Atlanta Olympics USA track team. This is a pursuit bike with 24" front wheel. ST 57 c-c and ETT ca. 55,5 c-c. The frames were made in GT's Longmont, co shop and the project was supervised by Forrest Yelverton. These were made for training bikes for olympics and In olympic games the team used the famous Superbikes.
The fork is not the original fork but it is a GT 24" fork in the very same design that the original forks were. It was repainted by a pro few months back and the only difference imo are the edges of the stars but can't see those from 1m distance. The only structural difference compared to the original is that it is spaced for 80mm hub. This is why I'll include 2 front wheels to the sales because they are quite hard to come by. First one is the HED + Sapim CX-ray + Mavic 580CX track hub and the second one is Mavic Mach 2 CD + Mavic 580CX QR. The second hub has crack in the flange but is fixable for couple tenners if needed.
In addition I will throw in a Mavic 305 headset.
Price for the set described above is GBP 930 shipped inside EU including Paypal fees. I will ship world wide but please ask for a quote. Not cheap but please let me know when you last time saw one for sale?
All parts from the first pic is up for sale for the person who buys the frameset but not separately.

Thrust, there's few reason why I decided to go with mix and not full Mavic. I think that the biggest reason was finding that HED 24" front rim and this resulted in HED rear disc. On the other hand if you compare these cranks that I have:

I myself find the 107s more sexyh:)
TM, I'm probably gonna keep that bar and if I ever decide to drive that bike maybe it will get some risers.. dunno yet but as I a little bit revealed my intensions this will end up for sale probably.
Indra, GT is a shitty place to get any info and I don't personally know how many were made with 24". If you google these bikes some of them are with 700c forks but that might be that the owners wanted to make them drivable and couldn't handle the crazy geo. My dedicated guess would be that there are handful of these frames made with 24" fork because these were the training bikes for the olympic track team members for Atlanta Olympics in 1996. My fork isn't actually the original but it is a GT 24" fork that was custom painted for me and it is the same fork that these had with the only difference that it is spaced to 80mm. Unfortunately the serial didn't give any glue about the amounts manufactured because some other bikes have the same serial that came out from the GT's Longmont custom shop.

Up for sale is a very rare front wheel with two problems.
The hub is Mavic 580 CX 28h quick release. The hub is spaced for 80mm fork and finding this hub can be quite tricky. I personally bought the NOS hub for the price of this wheel (including shipping) on ebay few months back. The axle and QR are NOS - I installed them on the hub last weekend. Rim is Mavic Mach 2 CD 24". The lacing pattern is 2 cross.
The problems that I mentioned are two cracks in the hub flange on both sides. The previous owner fixed this in a bike shop by throwing around the flange a strip of steel that you can see in the pics. I personally haven't ridden it but it could do the trick - not the prettiest though. You can take it to aluminium fixer and fix the flange for maybe gbp 20.
The rim has signs of brake wear that I have tried to show in the pics. But please ask if you wan't any additional pictures of the brake wear.

You can find more pics at the end of my flickr. The second crack was a bit tricky to take photos of but it goes from the spoke hole to the top of the flange.
Price would be GBP 75-> 70 including shipping to EU.
e. oh yeah, tub not included to sales and I'm willing to ship all around the world but please ask a quote.
