Ranmore's awesome. Go when dry.

When I get properly stressed about stuff, I tend to dream I'm trapped somewhere dark (often a horse stables, for reasons unknown). At which point (apparently) I get out of bed and start patting the walls, pulling down anything I find. Like bookshelves. Or radiators.

So I made lentils with a lot of garlic... two days later and the flat reeks.

This makes me feel manly and proud.

Landing on heels is bad. Landing on toes normally means flat sprint, or the runner is a little drunk and has lost their balance. Landing mid foot is normal (I think).

Lentil curry- any pointers? Never tried, but I have a huge bag of red lentils which have been on the shelf for a year or so.

Went out to Surrey hills on Sunday, on the MTB. Trains were borked so took two hours to get there. Started cycling to the trails. Got a puncture. Fix puncture. Just before trails get another puncture. Fix puncture. Half way down the very first trail, get puncture. Fix puncture. Decide that this day can go fuck itself, turn round and go home. Tyres now in the bin.

I grew up between Bampton and Buckland, spent a fair bit of time swimming in the thames and chimney rivers around there. Never really felt concerned about the cleanliness. The currants and wiers, on the other hand, scared the bejesus out of me.
