@pizzarat That, to me, is far too much for the first email.
First contact- hi, do you own this property, I'm having issues, do you mind speaking about it?
He's hired an agent for a reason- be cautious on the first few conversations.

So, I understand #objettrouve to be 'something discarded that is felt to have artistic value'.
Most valuable old chimneys in London?

@SideshowBob I come from the other end of the scale from pdlouche - absolute amateur with camera's, but enjoy taking pics.
I've read a few bits online about Sony menu's being hard to use. I've never used another 'proper' camera to compare it to, but found it fine. Kinda like using a new smartphone - had a few days of 'what does this do', then found the settings I like, and have left it there ever since.
Find it easy to use day-to-day for taking pics. It has a couple of automatic settings, but the semi-manual and fully manual modes are very useful when I'm after a specific shot. And the raw files have easily enough quality that I can save shots, and get the effects I like.
Only downsides for me are (as mentioned) the lenses being expensive, and the autofocus isn't the best there is any more. It is good - I've got good shots of swallows in flight with it - but speed is variable across lenses, and never up there with the best of the best.
Would buy again.
Edit: one more thing. Sony's editing software is terrible. I'd budget for an adobe subscription.

Re the skate chat upthread. It's one if those topics I feel split about. I love skate- it's delicious. It's also critically endangered. Feel really uncomfortable buying it these days
For those interested, the marine conservation website is worth looking at when buying fish. It gives the ins and outs of what is endangered and not.
