Not quite sure at this point yet. It’s unlikely to get abused but it’ll be used with bike packing, so no trekking poles.
I was thinking of going all out, buying an MSR once, and forgetting about it.@Elra what’s the space like? I can sleep in a coffin, but my partner needs a little more breathing room;

Well, this worked out very well. I’m up to 5k easy and aside from needing to stretch after a run, I’ve got zero pain, zero tightness and it feels like I can keep going. This is also recent smoker quitting. Thanks for all the help.
Next question if you don’t mind me asking. Any metric measuring devices you/ you all recommend. Basic as it gets.
Caveat is I don’t like carrying my
Phone with me. -
Update.
Early conditioning has not worked out as well as I’d hoped. 3 of them survived the cold, but have been stunted and are now wilting. I’m fairly said about this. Early May planting has not worked out well. Today was especially bad, way too cold for early June.
Anyone have any spare plants they’d like to donate?

Whoa, how comes?
@PhilDAS I’m waiting for the 950’s with spoked wheels to drop in price.

Totally missed this.
That's great to hear. My daily is a Bullit, so not really fussed about speed. I like kicking up puddles and hopping off of stuff whilst doing miles as opposed to destination blinders.
Was actually thinking of going Alfine on this. Knobbly tyres, no guards, Carradice saddle bag and a small basket up front. Dynamo obviously.

@gbj_tester I'm buying some Mitutoyo Vernier's. I'm stuck between analogue vs digital vs dial. What do you use?
General purpose working on Bicycles and Motorcycles. Will soon be learning to mill with a lathe; making non critical bullshit out of aluminium. -

It's wild to see how uneven the terrain is. Sublime riding skill.
