1982 Majestic 10 speed. Holy moly look at her gold paint job!

Bought this last minute before a bike trip through France last summer. Managed a good 450 miles on it, albeit with a few components swapped out.
It's got almost all the original components that I bought it with, from a guy that had owned it since new. Check out the brochure pic below.
Before the trip it had the basics sorted out. replaced BB ball bearings, replaced cables and a clean.
There's a newish 3T stem, new cheapo seatpost and riser bars with mismatched levers. It's missing grips!
New continental on the rear.

Frame is great condition, no dings or bendiness but a few scratches.
BB is super, Headset is nice and smooth. Wheels are true enough although the front could do with a tighten up and the cassette is definitely not coming off the rear.
Wheels are 27" not 700c !!
Weinman brakes work nice.
Suntour groupset, friction shifters.

Nice fixer upper or conversion for a beater.

yeah I've tried a 43 sidi on before and it was nearly just-right. I think these Poobahs are narrower towards the toes.

got 8.5's on right now. nikes as well. definitely a lot more roomy than these Poobahs. They very tight.

So I bought these Ebay. I think they're pretty badass. And Nike don't make them anymore as far as I can gather. But, alas, they don't fit me. But they are in really great nick!

They sized as a UK 8.5, but I'd say they fit like a very small 8. They none too comfy for me. I'm looking for £50 £45 £40 £35. Open to offers though. Welcome to pop over to try them on. I'm in Camberwell SE5.
