Cheers, I've been using clear nail polish for the last 2 years, works fine but I'd like to treat it to a fresh coat. Looks much worse up close and it's my favourite frame at the moment

My daily commuter. Considering a respray though as had to sand away a lot of surface rust.

Also have a shimano 8 speed cassette to throw in and the chain if I can find it .

Looking for a 56cm CAAD5 frame and forks , no dings or cracks but any paintwork considered. As cheap as possible !

This is a Women's Pinnacle Neon Frame & Fork that I used as a donor bike for parts for my other half (see thread https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/283747/#comment13123489 )

Size is medium - suits height 5' 3" - 5' 6". Its a really lovely frame in excellent condition, 1 small chip on the top tube and some marks down side of the fork and head tube, though I think these are actually paint from something else as they started to come off as I rubbed them. Colour is a lighter metallic grey than it appears I photos

I don't think its seen much use at all, the previous owner said he bought it for his wife and she rode it a couple of times before getting pregnant. I stripped the bike down and its been stored inside ever since.

Features:

Canti /v-brake bosses (though fork and rear bridge are drilled for mudguard mounts, these may be able to be enlarged to take calipers if wished).
Full fixings for mudguards and rack .

All in all a very nice frame that will build up into a fast but comfortable and versatile ride. I rode this home with the seat right up and had a blast! Came with flat bars but I think would be equally good with drops.

RRP for the frame is £180, I'll include forks, headset, stem, bb, ss chainset, bars and saddle for £100

Collection from Bristol/Bath preferred but happy to post at cost.

Update - eventually got the frame back after 2 more resprays (paint turned out to be contaminated). Really happy with final finish.

Complete build comes in at 11 kg, pretty pleased with this as bobbin bikes are around 14-15. I think the saddle is accounting for a fair amount of weight! Got a 350mm seatpost in there that could cut right down to save some weight. Just waiting on a basket support.

Does anyone know a source of headset spacers with 1" internal and 1 1/8" external diameter?

I'm running a 1" threadless fork with a 1 1/8" stem that has a 1" shim. 1" spacers work fine but don't look great under the wider stem clamp
