Are they easy (ish) to keep clean? Yours look pretty good for 2 years old. My Clement Strada's are a very light sidewall and are really hard to keep clean

Have you considered getting it blasted then clearcoated by the powdercoater? Would retain a ratty/unique look without loosing the nice details under the coating ...

Has anyone tried the POC Avip jersey and bib copies ? Really just want the jersey and don't expect much from the bibs but the waist sizing for the bibs seems impossible small ! Would be nice if they at least fit for commuting etc . Seller will mix and match sizes but even xxl is tiny. In contrast the jersey sizes seem standard

@daveaa I've got this seatpost and the front bolt is really annoying. I know some major brands use this clamp , but it's a really really bad design. Spent 15 minutes in the pouring rain trying to adjust it when it slipped mid ride last week. You really need a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten the front bolt . Even then it's difficult to get the angle correct as it moves when you tighten the rear bolt . Swore I would buy a different one this week !

Campagnolo Veloce 9 speed groupset consists of :

1) Ergos - 2nd gen style with full 3 up / 5 down shift function . New g springs and carriers were fitted recently. Hoods in very good shape £35 sold

2) Calipers - these were NOS in original packaging and have only been used very briefly for a few rides. Excellent condition £25

3) Front mech (28.6 band on £15

4) Rear mech (10 speed) . £20

5) 9/10/11 speed Wheelset with FIR rims . Rear bearings just replaced. Slight peeling of chrome on rear hub but nice condition. Both running smooth and true. Gumwall tyres and inners included. £95

I initially considered a narrow-wide chainring / Paul chain keeper but to be honest its never been an issue. The only time it dropped was when I shifted across the whole cassette using the friction shiftier in one go. But otherwise no issues. I think cross /off road is a different matter..

Not strictly a modern groupset but have updated my 1991 Trek with a 1x9 7700 groupset for commuting duties. All the other components apart from the headset are also updated. Really hard to capture the splatter paint as it's literally fluorescent (saves me wearing hi-viz!) Some nice design touches on the frame..

Yeah not sure , also asked them if I could use my own headset at the bottom and they said no, which might mean some weird kind of permanent. crown race ? Decided I liked my teeth where they are , there are other 1" options about for not a lot more. Would be interested to see one up close though ..
