It is time for me to replace my Sac and i just wanted to know how to prevent it from smelling Bad after being soaked numerous times throughout its lifespan... i don't know how great throwing my bag in the washing machine will be?

Things i've tried Febreeze/dryer sheets/car freshener

Had the straps reattached and holes patched last summer but its long due for retirement.

How do you keep it from getting Soaked in Rainy weather?

started out as an experiment and ended up preferring the even more rigid feel when i'm out of the saddle sprinting... maybe just in my head but it feels much more stable hovering closer to the ground
