Despite all the regulation there are still people out there that think it will be banned therefore making it illegal giving the government authority to freeze bank accounts leading to wallets holding crypto... At least in Canada the past truckers rally during COVID times. No longer worried though because Justin Trudeau is on his way out the next election...

Yup, especially with the US planning to use it as a Treasury with putting on the books for the reserve... BlackRock and Vanguard are only the beginning... As it gets more scarce while the government prints more money, the gap will only get larger for the common man to own it. I'm looking to pave the way by investing into adoption and education to help people escape this corrupt system of centralized bankers. Fight the power!

Being late to the party makes me no expert but I can definitely see a future in holding crypto to escape the trap of governments that print money that will support hyper inflation. I've decided to invest my money into Decentralized autonomous platforms that will make more money than buying government bonds that will only dilute the yields by increasing money supply... Anyone reading this will probably have already figured that out. Let's watch as the masses start to borrow money against their assets and get sucked back into an archaic system of debt consolidation. Interest rates will fall to suck them in and money will be injected which devaluates the asset of which they borrowed against. While everyone is piling in to buy crypto, my plan is to invest into the infrastructure for the "New" world of finance.

Was out on the Bomber yesterday and realized the legs would benefit gearing up from the current 47/18. I was quite impressed with the design and finish quality of Affinity chainrings so I picked up a 49t... The bronze finish looks nice against the silver omnoms/rose gold wheelset. I've also asked my son if he could transport some njs export goodies with him on his visit home this Christmas break to save on shipping and import tax.

@ian(conker) You are a beast. Its a good thing shock didn't kick in. The hospital was probably worried that you would lose consciousness from the blood pressure drop. Happy to hear you are back on the bike.

Been a Bitcoin hodler since 2019 so it's my second bull run. Learned how to control my emotions and take out realized profits this time around. My best advice for anyone looking to get into cryptocurrency is to never expect the price to move in your favor as soon as you invest. My most profitable gains were in the bear market... Now I'm sitting on a big bag of usdt (tether) waiting for a capitulation or distribution. I wouldn't recommend buying at all time highs unless your stomach can handle a 10-30% loss on any given day. Buy on the way down and sell it on the retrace. Gold is looking quite attractive to get some exposure to. I work as a machine technician manufacturing construction materials for all structures. I can say with confidence my co workers that bought their homes in the last 5 years that haven't carried any equity are sweating bullets right now paying interest on a depreciating asset/yearly government tax and maintenance or up keep. We are union and our last contract hasn't kept up with inflation nor do I see a fair negotiation on the horizon... With less people interested in taking up more debt not to mention can even qualify for a 1st time mortgage, I can only see the supply of the market become greater. I notice building developments slowing down because the returns on their developments are shrinking in front of their own eyes. I can only put blame on the greed of men who have pumped up the prices and over leveraged themselves into a housing bubble they thought would go up forever. Watch for unemployment to rise as the supply of global liquidity starts to shrink. I'm no economics genius but no amount of interest cuts or stimulation plans are gonna save this sinking ship... Own nothing and be happy because you can't take it with you when you die. I am a parent of two 28 year olds (twins) who are both gainfully employed and the best lesson I have been able to pass on is to live within your means and save for rainy days because the sun doesn't shine forever... The fact you're reading this post puts you in a category above most of the people out there drowning in debt. Peace and God speed!

Fellow scaphoid fracture victim here... Not a bike accident but on a snowboard. Hopefully the only time I have to be carried down on a ski stretcher. After surgery and I think 3 casts later I was able to begin rehab which felt like a lifetime. My thumb was sore and sensitive to the touch for a long time. Not to mention the ligaments and forearm muscle atrophied. Here is a harsh reminder of the stitches and pins that were left inside my wrist over 25 years ago. My twins were enfant toddlers at the time living with inlaws so was lucky to have support of family. Take care all!!!

Appreciate the positive remarks. The ride was quite wet from the get go but tapered off nearing the end. The first stop was at an under bridge skate spot. We were fortunate to get there in between the fire works display. Ended up jumping on the wrong bus taking me south rather then east after the train back. All in all, a night worth remembering. I felt very much humbled climbing hills through the city and equally rewarded hill bombing the other side... Got some running around to do tomorrow. Going to extremes from the small bike to the Allez which has a longer seat tube/top tube with thinner taller wheels.

Yeah he is a doll. My Aunt had a pure bred Yorkie with a fine coat. He is more fluffy and is less yappy then my past experiences with Yorkies. I'm so glad our jack Russel has taken to him so strongly. We have a cat who is almost 2 years old that tries to intimidate the puppy and our jack hovers around him as if he was his guardian. In time our cat will learn to accept him into the fold the same way our jack has accepted him.
Haven't decided where to use the polished wheelset... I'm swaying towards the Vigo'.. stopped to take a Scoblebrick pic before doing a hill climb warming my heart on a cold autumn day
