Just finished preping my front Spoke wheel... waiting for wax/grease remover before going any further.. hope the paint will stick to the braking surface as i dont plan to run a brake and its looks cleaner i think
going from red to matte black
masked and prepped

mock up of black/yellow tire currently not in use

im kinda bummed about the head tube angle after swapping back to 700c
feels really responsive and aggressive with the 650didn't turn out half bad for my first attempt at a respray on the front wheel

In an attempt to have my track bike as cool as Gaston's Mavic one (well, it will never come close, the frame being a MBK one...) I have bought Mavic automatic pedals yesterday at LMNH...
-Mavic headset: check
-Mavic bottom bracket: check
-Mavic pedals: checkCurrently the bike is almost 100% french, appart from the hubs and BB shell which is Cinelli...
Mavic bars would be cool...

its keeping the paint safe
let me elaborate... in my personal experience when riding outside and dirt sprays up in that area while pedaling acts like sandpaper
my top tubes always fade right there
here's a pic after today's outing
swapped out shallow road drops for pista's
note not the best bars when your carrying a pack... counter balance straps didn't help much when i was on the drops with a flat back.. kept on slipping under my arm
thoughts?

Dropped the chain on my Conversion while riding and pinched in between the hub and cog bringing me to a violent stop...
Post inspection has revealed that some of the spokes have been bent and damage due to the incident.
How safe is it to run bent or damaged spokes in that region?.. running brakeless and want to prolong my Life
