Hive mind advice needed. Picked up an outlet frame, but I want a fork that will let me use a rack and Porteur style bag. Don’t want aluminium, but happy with steel or carbon - budget about 150. What do you think?

Just been given permission (I used to use the adage, easier to be forgiven than ask for permission , but life is easier with permission) to get a new bike.

I’ve read through a lot of this thread, and think I’ll probably get an arkose, but I need some advice. Ideally I would like;

Hydraulic brakes
Drop bars
Mounts for touring
Does some off road
Budget around a grand

The main issue is I am 6 foot 4, and live in the sticks. Can I have some suggestions please.
