IMO it's unlikely it will get to perfect indexing (on anything above 8spd) again from that point. Worth a try, but I would take it to a shop where they can use a proper tool, but there's always a chance of snappage when it's bent that far. At least you've got an EBB so can SS/hub gear if the hanger is RIP.

A lot of riders who had done TCR said the same thing last year.
food/servo/shop isn't too bad, just things close quite early, a lot of petrol station meals for me. I gave up being vegan about 2 or 3 days in cause I was spending too much time in shops reading ingredients lists (stayed vegetarian).
There were a couple of times towards the end of the race when I was really trying to get ahead of Jason Woodhouse that I almost really fucked up in terms of food. I was cutting it fine and ended up bonking a bit in the last 100 miles which I think is what made me have to stop in Kinsale and nap for a few hrs before heading on.

Same boat as @howard, if I can get up there with ludicrous expenditure then yes.

I think it is that bit? It's got a rope swing at the top, and to the lefto f where the rope swing is the trail starts, it's sort of a roll in with a jump at the bottom, comes down to a left turn down a little rooty drop, then is quite quick all the way down. I think it might be near Theydon?
I don't know if any of that info helps at all.
