saw two people brklzz and retentionlzzzz on my way home today. Not coaster, definitely fixed, definitely don't know how they've not had some kind of natural selection moment yet.
Other than that, since falling off completely of my own accord and hurting myself the worst i've hurt myself in a while (about a month ago), I really don't enjoy traffic anymore. Traffic-free commute plz. -
yeah pretty sure alpkit custom bags are made in uk, when I spoke to restrap about custom frame bags at bespoked this year they were tentative about them. I think since measurements are so specific etc and they can be a faff to make exactly how someone wants them it can be hard to actually charge how much they need to to make it viable for them (this opinion is 100% from my head and not based on anything but speculation). I suppose maybe because alpkit is a bigger operation and they are seen as more of a budget brand then it's not as big of a deal to them.

Camping or accommodation? If the former you may find you want a little more storage, if the latter you'll be fine. Half frame bag, saddle bag and some kind of bar bag is good for touring with camping gear imo, it's all down to preference tho. Could go full frame bag and saddle bag for a nice set up.

omw home I was going east on Whitechapel road on the cycle superhighway, at the start of brick lane a car is turning right from Whitechapel road towards brick lane, the car is just outside of the cycle lane and stopped, the car edges forwards a little but seems stopped so I carry on as I believe (this is the bit I'm questioning) it is my right of way, the car drives into the side of me knocking me off (hit my leg and sort whipped the rear end out), and the car then speeds off up Brick lane.
Obviously the hit and run is not okay, but what I am questioning is whether it was in fact my right of way when I kept going? If anyone understands what I mean from this and can tell me I would be grateful.
(I'm okay and bike seems okay, bit roadrashy and a white t-shirt is all bloody but hey)
