Coincidentally my mate just went and saw this bike from the gumtree ad, I can confirm that this is the notorious "TONI" so he's definitely telling porky pies on here.

The frame is badly sprayed and all the parts have been swapped about.

Overpriced. Avoid.

So I've been stuck thinking what to do first.

I realised I also have these campag levers too, thrown in with the frame! Some little screw is missing from one of them though. Anywhere I can get spares for these or unlikely? Need hoods too.

I think the biggest thing is the chain set, so many options and most look really ugly! SRAM actually look good, but they're mostly black and too modern I think. This bike is old! It needs old stuff or at least silver.

Is there anything like a vintage super record I can get my teeth into? They look amazing.

Would the Campag Mirage Hub work with this http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/253739/? I have no wheels yet and want to build my own.

SRAM? I'm really confused about what to do first. Is there anything I should know? I want it to look vintage. Nothing round and new, all squared and beautiful. Old things made new. Possible with SRAM?

I was thinking Shapeways since they do metal 3d printing, but I can at least get the plastic mock-ups done there to test for fit and size. Do you have any other recommends?
