no clue, i've bought from koo before and they're reviews system means you can get little odds and ends for free or hugely discounted, for example i got a puncture kit for 1p (penny not pound) and a sks xtra dry for a fiver. Fairly sure it's an error because they're selling the chainring for £50, so be quick people

ah fair enough, thanks for the education and diagram haha, you didn't sound patronising btw, cup and cone would appear to be a bit before my time, i'm in the sub 20 category so that's my excuse :)
Also, what about victoire hubs? the lead time would probably be shorter than macks, and you got anything decided re rims?
And semi thread hijack: 1000aa you hear anything back from the concierge guys?

Skf do make ceramic cartridge bearings polka dot, and you can get packs of ceramic bearings online, just need to look in the right places. I thought about getting some for a set of my hubs, then saw the price and thought fuck that.
I think low flange purely for aesthetics, plus they're a little bit lighter. It would seem macks are the best option if you're going with planet x rims, they're spoke drillings seem a bit awkward for finding track hubs. And imo 50/82 for rim depth, don't wanna go deep if you'll be using them on outdoor veledromes

what about velocity aeroheads? http://www.velocityusa.com/product/rims/aerohead-622 they seem like a happy medium of all you wants, (light, strong and semi-aero) and you could probably give hubjub a call and they'll be able to get them in for you for sub £100 and the saved money can go on nicer, lighter tires.
Then when you're got some money sell the velocity's and get some crabon and you've still got some really nice tubular tires

fair enough, i was looking at getting one and when i emailed them to see a geometry chart i got this:
Technical charts:
Wheel base: 95sm, if fork rake 4.5sm,
Head tube angle 76'.
Seat tube angle 76'.
BB bsa.
Seat stay 27,2, fork 1,1/8"not sure whether they didn't understand what i wanted or they just don't use them, if they do give you a geo chart could you send it my way, still might get one but at the moment there's just too many unkowns to be dropping that sort of cash for me.

I'm going to get a custom Ingria Airpusher.
Anyone want to tell me this is a rubbish idea?
Do ingria even do custom? it seems it's just square st and tt geometry with 76degress on both and 45mm rake forks
It's an amazing idea, they amount to about £400 which for a frame that is apparently quite good, if weights are accurate and tubes are stiff
what colour?

they haven't asked us upon ordering
I would have to see how they compare against each other to tell you which one we got...
it is a bit satin-y though if that makes senseBlake got your rims, sorry about delay - sending tomorrow
No worries man, the fuckers won't get built up for a while, I still need to order the front hub, but they'll be good when they're finally finished :) what did you end up getting done out of interest?

you're after the standard 1.29tpi lockring mate, so dura ace, surly, all city, halo, will all fit it, (i've got a novatec hub and am going to use an all city lockring, if you want further confirmation that it's 1.29tpi, here: Novatec 32 Hole Flip Flop Single Speed Fixie Hubset: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors )
the other one you're thinking about is iso threading which is 1.32tpi, and that's like vince said: phil, miche (cheese), campag, or eai (what i've got, found at hubjub, good lockring)
-
i've got a 24mm campag (much better ;) ) one here mate http://www.lfgss.com/thread107196.html will pop it in the post today for £3 if you're interested?

Has anyone been using the above for a period of time and care to comment on durability, need a back-pocket lock for short trips and this seems to fit the bill
