It looks like the sandstone threshold stone on my front path has been partially covered with a thin cement (I think) screed at some point. What’s the best way to remove this? I’m assuming mechanical?
I tried briefly with a ro and belt sander. The belt was more effective but I only have 1 worn belt so didn’t get very far. Before I go pick up some new belts is the anything more effective I could try? I’m not looking for a faultless finish, some wear and patina is fine. -

The strike off was discontinued.
I received the court order and, surprise surprise, they haven’t paid. Any advice on how to enforce it? From what I’ve read it seems like a bit of a leap into the unknown. I could request bailiffs go to the shop and remove items to sell but I have no idea if they have anything worth selling. And of course, I have to pay for that.
It’s pretty farcical that you can simply ignore court judgements with no consequences. -

Yes I’ve done some screen printing of tees, hoodies etc. Nothing crazy complex - max 4 colours, all blocked, no halftones/blends etc.
The pulling of the ink itself is pretty straightforward, it’s mostly in the prep of the screens, keeping things clean and logical, making sure your garment is registered correctly before you begin. -
Trying to find a way to say this without coming across as rude: It feels to me like the new design isn't a design, more an exercise in what units they can get to fit in the space.
It's going to feel cramped and claustrophobic squashed between the island and the hob/full height units. Especially once you have a door open and are bending down to reach whatever is inside. Not even sure drawers on the island would work without trapping your legs!
The hob feels squashed in because of the 2 full height units. Your idea of a range would definitely help with this.
The larder units on the left hand side of the RSJ in the 'dining room' feel out of place and don't really flow naturally at the moment. From the plan it looks like they're set back and there's a false wall along that side (wall B)?Would you consider losing the island and having a peninsular in place of the the wall you want to remove?
Is the sliding door going to be in 4 sections or is that just a representative illustration? If it's 4 section each pane will only be 450/500 mm wide?

The claim is against the company. The fella who’s been dealing (or not as the case may be) with the claim is one of the directors.
I’ll look into objecting to the stile off.
I assume I’ll get sent a copy of the court order that gets sent to the defendant? That would be the best evidence I can show to companies house.
Thanks to you and tester for your help. -

The hearing was yesterday. The defendant didn’t turn up and the judge viewed in my favour. They will be sending a court order to the defendant to pay the debt within 14 days.
I just looked the defendant’s company up on companies house and there is a First Gazette Notice of compulsory strike off from 2 April.
Could this be an attempt to avoid the court order or just coincidental timing?
They had a strike off notice back in Aug 2023, but it was discontinued the following day.I appreciate I’ve replied without knowing what type of law you practice but any help would be massively appreciated!

Yes, on reflection it’s not that clear.
The red paint is what I want to remove, but in doing so it’s evident that there’s a thin layer of cement over part of the stone. It could be covering up all manner of defects, but I’d like to try and remove it and see the condition of the original stone.
South of the pink line is stone, north is cement.
I could try an SDS but I’m weary of taking chunks out of the stone. Maybe I’ll try a bolster first.
