Also I'm really fed up with seeing all the scummy guys leaving their empty coffee cups and containers out the costa coffee on the corner of Edgeware road and George street, such a shitty thing to do.
Ever since it came out in the news that those paper cups can't be recycled, the sight of them enrages me... they are fcking everywhere

Went to view a property last weekend, was shown some dead looking Japanese knotweed ny the EA and told that it was being treated so shouldn't be a problem to get mortgage, insurance etc.
Later found some more - does the the fact it's holey and misshapen look like the treatment is working, or is it coming back with a vengeance?

Common method is to 'cold set' it to 130mm: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/frame-spacing.html
Are you sure it's 120mm? Is quite unusual for a geared frame. Might be 126mm, in which case sometimes you can just shove the wheel in without doing anything if the stays are flexible enough.
Personally I wouldn't remove anything from the wheel itself - likely to cause it to work itself loose/too tight.

I like this answer... it's a v v nice bike which you've obviously put a lot of thought into building... if it's possible (and I don't know your situation), could be a nice way to help recover
