I'm not that cyclist but how the blinking flip that silly cow could plead not guilty is beyond me.

I was knocked off a scooter near Newington green 15 or so years . As soon as I hit the ground the first words in my head were "STAY DOWN" The LAS and the Police arrived . .

If I ever get knocked off a push bike thats what i plan to do.

Yes to good gloves and shoe covers . I've been wearing a belgian style winter hat , it is wool and has raleigh written on the front in fuzzy felt. warm yet wickable .

I was off on Thursday so as the sun was out I went out . The ice cold win soon curtailled my attempted milege to that of around 30 miles . 10 of those were on the hillingdon road race circuit.
I went out again on friday. wasnt as cold only managed 15 .

I Find the winter mileage really hard at the moment .
My plan of being able to do 100 + miles by march isnt happening .

Set out to do as much as possible today. aimmed for 60 + . Only was able to do 35 . No power in the legs. perhaps it is the lack of carbs over the last few days that caused my lack of mileage. Or of couse the shitty weather.

I went to the paradise club a few times .(when the Camden palace died a death)
As a 20 yr old suburban stoner/pillhead i didnt really like the club. I was out of my depth.

5 years after that the Mrs and i rented a flat in Hoxton and then Dalston. Wasnt half as bad then . .

Islington felt a very different place when I was going to the Paradise club
