I know nothing about Di2 but am planning on using it for an upcoming build. Am i correct in thinking the going price for Di2 parts is much higher than it was pre-pandemic/the world suffered a shimano shortage? Should I wait for a while before I start amassing parts?

Pirelli P Zero - how does the width come up?
The rims I use are 22mm internal width. My 25mm GP5000's balloon up to 29mm on these rims, leaving very little clearance - can I expect the same with 25mm Pirelli's?

Yes went for tubeless, I think that was the only option for the rim width I went for.

I've been running an aliexpress carbon seatpost/saddle for c.6000km with no issues. I weigh c.80kg. No creaking or seatpost slipping issues, and the saddle weighs 100g.

Ali-Express carbon wheels arrived. Finish is pretty impressive, the rims are immaculate. The only part i'm not overly confident of are the hubs. Rear hub especially seems a bit flimsy - freehub sound is disconcertingly quiet and the seal doesn't seem particularly robust.

After fitting, I noticed there was 1-2mm play in the rear wheel, which disappeared when I really tightened the through axle in tight. I contacted the manufacturer about this, and they said 1-2mm play is normal.

Weight for the pair is 1550g, so not svelte, and that's with CX ray spokes. I'd like to think the majority of the weight lies in the hubs.

I'm planning to take these wheels on a ride from Lands End to John o Groats later this year, fingers crossed they stand up until then.

Took my front wheel out and noticed this wear on the back of the fork. Clearly a result of the clip on mudguard rubbing at the back of the fork over winter, compounded by rain/grit etc.

It doesn't look like there's any cracks, and that this is just the layer of paint that's been worn off. Should I be concerned? Bike has disc brakes, so lots of stress through the fork.

I ordered this base layer by accident, having not realised it was the roll neck version. I've already got a roll beck base layer, otherwise i'd be keeping it!

Last ride before recabling and replacing the drive train.

To be honest, I didn't think overly hard about the effetto sealant. Saw it on sale on wiggle and thought it might be worth a punt.

I don't imagine I'll notice the extra 30g of sealant in the inner tubes, but absolutely notice not having to pump the tyres everyday.

Weight wise the latex tube with sealant is still about 20/30g lighter than butyl.

I'm a big fan of latex inners, I put 30ml effetto mariposa sealant on my tubes about 6 months ago and now they hold pressure as long as butyl tubes - gamechanger!

I've got a k edge mount with a garmin insert, and i'd like to replace the insert to wahoo. Seems like there's no stock of these inserts in the UK, does anyone know if i can use any other type of wahoo insert that'll fit k edge?

Good to hear. Yeah I've heard that extralite rings suck. I tried TA specialities rings and they're awful with sram mechanical. It's between stronglight ct2's and BOR rings - think I'll go BOR!
