sound[/I] like they're coming from the BB, most of them aren't.
As for locating the problem in the first place, I've looked at everything else, and along with the bottom bracket I was going to change pedals as well, in case this was the cause of the annoying click, I have checked and tightened crank bolts, even greased the bearings on the pedals I have on there at the mo, I can only presume its the bottom bracket, which I have also had out of the bike, only yesterday and thoroughly cleaned and re-greased it, the only thing left to change or consider is the crank set itself, which I was planning on going over with a fine tooth comb, whilst changing the bottom bracket, in case its cracked or something, please tell me if there is anything I may have missed, or should consider

What cranks? Single sprocket or dérailleur, and if dérailleur how many chain rings, which FD, what's your seat tube diameter? All of these could influence whether a slightly longer BB spindle will work.
And while we're at it, as you sure the clicking is actually coming from the BB? Most noises sound like they're coming from the BB, most of them aren't.
Wow, you've given me some stuff to think on, nope its a bog standard no name crank, 3 piece forged 6061 170mm single sproket, seat post is 27.2 mm diameter, when you talk about FD, I am at a loss, what does that stand for ?, I`m a complete novice, mdcc

Techy question coming up, ok, I have to replace my bottom bracket on my bike, (Annoying clicking coming from that region) so I have looked at the specs that came with my bike, and I`m being told I have a 68 x 103, but looking about in the shops I can only find 68 x107, now can I get away with fitting a 107, or will I have to keep hunting for a 103 ???

He had an issue with:
The red tires (they're bike trainer tires, they only come in red/yellow so that you don't accidentally take them on the road, as they will puncture super easy and get destroyed)
The setback and the saddle slammed back (I have long femurs, and needed the bike back to get knee over pedal position)
The short stem (I had the stem on those bars to sell them, and didn't want to deal with switching stems to see how the bars looked/felt with that geometry. The TT is around 610mm, so even with the 50mm stem, it's a decent reach.)
The spacers (I had the shop put in 24mm of spacers, so I could sit on the bike and see how it fit. i.e. measure twice, cut once)
In regards to the "beefier wheels" I was going to build up some deep carbon rimmed wheels, but considering I don't race, I saw no need. Most people that race (road) bikes have 2 sets of wheels, training wheels (durable and usually aluminum, shallow rims), and their "race wheels". As I will only essentially be training, I have more of a need for training wheels than race wheels.
These wheels are temporary as they're from another build, but I plan on building some Archetype to Low Flange Phil Woods in the spring.
Ozren0 thanks for getting back to me, its a lot to consider, I hear what your saying about the wheels and it makes sense to have two sets of wheels if your training, although I didn't know there was even a difference myself

Did anyone notice that as well as Noel Street we also went along Snow Hill EC1, Star Street W2 and Three Kings Yard W1?
I noticed star street, can't remember who I mentioned it to though, John, thanks again btw, great intro to forum rides, it's also motivated me to try fixed wheel cycling again, (didn't think I was fit enough), but after cruising with all you hipsters last night made me want to try again, I'll keep u posted, & any tips would be most appreciated :)
