Awesome, I'll start asking around when I get it. I was very close to buying a copy of a troll from China but import and shipping fees were the same as the bike so sacked it. Its a funny world really, so many people think new is better but an old steel bike could be reborn into a modern copy for a fraction of the cost and whilst supporting a local frame builder and saving it from a land fill. Pages and pages of that on this forum are inspiring and even at the Rdvst they are inspiring it.

Nope its a bit of a bike tombola. From the fork I guessed 1 1/8, as with clearance too, will get researching on serial number/ year of production when it arrives, plan is to get a fork with all the braze ons and then get bottle cage mounts on this for some cheap touring rig.
Edit: essentially DIY a surly troll. step one, find steel bike made of the same steel. check

I mean for a tenner its low risk. worst case scenario he'll send the tenner back to avoid bad ebay cred. I sent an hopeful message about postage because I live in North Wales and London and train or drive from either would be considerably more. Failing that I'll offer £20 or so to cover post and packing if he's still not happy.

Highlander OG green. Small, six hours of heat if you warm it up fast, only £7 I recall. Branded is best.
