8 hours 23 is nuts!
Did IM UK this year and as a naff swimmer and very average runner was happy with 11 hours 57 minutes! Left the water in 698th position and finished the ride in 152nd but lost a few on the run to finish 231st of 1500.
Swim [2.4]: 1:23:23 Bike [112]: 5:46:07 Run [26.2]: 4:28:31 Overall: 11:57:00
It's all about the bike leg.

Thanks for emailing through the pictures this morning.
This is exactly what I'm looking for at the mo but I wouldn't be able to collect so I'm going to have to let someone else bite your hand off for it. If you become open to posting drop me a message.
If you want help hosting the pictures I could put them up here for you?

Picked up my first single speed last week. Not the most original but I think it'll be enough to get me hooked.
First up, turns out it is a homage to that twat lance. A respray is on the cards!

Put down over 200 miles last week and love it, except I found myself spinning along like a tumble drier someone has just lobbed a brick into. Here she is last week running 42x15

Put a new stronglight 51t, superlight KMC chain and Velosolo 17t cog on yesterday.
Can't decide on bars, prefer the bull horns to the Deda Newton that arrived at the weekend.
Might go for a 3t ergonova and deffo needs a comfier saddle.
May also need recommendations for a chiropractor.

edit: chain was upside down for these pics. rookie. -

cheers, yeah on my current bike [trek T1] i've made it comfier with a better seatpost, saddle and pads under the bar tape but it's still a very rough ride for my elbows, needs a new fork or a new frame..
All I need to do now is find a decent American Cinelli store that will ship one over. Why'd they make the grey/pink colour scheme USA only!!
