@danstuff thanks
@lardboy I thought they were tubeless ready meaning they could take a normal tyre and tube as well?

I went and test rode an equilibrium disc 10 yesterday. I really liked it but it's not quite exactly what I want. Ideally I'd like a 105 group and a dynamo front hub. By the time I've bought these and with my job uncertain for the next 12 months it doesn't make sense to buy on the cycle2work scheme anymore so I'm thinking about building from scratch.
With this comes its own problems; should i buy the equilibrium disc frameset or the croix de fer frameset?

There doesn't appear to be much difference between the two so I'm swaying towards the equilibrium as I prefer the colour scheme.
I'll build it up initially with a 5700 105 Group (I have this spare already) and some TRP Spyre Calipers.
I'd also like to build up some nice wheels. I was looking at Pacenti SL25 rims, which are on offer at Planet X at the minute. I'd like the front to have a dynamo and was looking at a shutter precision. I dont know what to use on the rear. I think i'd prefer 6 bolt fitting so I can use the rotors that come with the spyres.
Anyone advice welcome and perhaps heeded.

hmm, @edscoble Were you a fan of the CL25s?
I'm also on the look out for a rear disc hub which will take a 11 speed cassette. Thinking about using a shutter precision dynamo up front.

I have a few questions for the hive mind:
Should I buy a 2015 genesis equilibrium disc frameset or the croix de fer instead? Is there much difference between the two?
Can anyone recommend a cheap wheelset to go with the above? (should I go 650b?)
Where the cheapest place to get a pair of trp spyres? And, are these the still the best option if not going full hydro?

To me, that sounds like they are building them to order (well they might have stock of popular combos) so are just going to use the other hub when they do build it.
Maybe send one more email for confirmation stating exactly what you want and then pay with a credit card. If anything goes wrong (I don't think it will) your cc provider should sort it out.

I dont know about all the wheels, but I was in conversation with them about building up a pair that wasn't listed on their site so I assume they build some of them.
I was quoted € 132,00 at the time for Mavic A119 plus Tiagra hubs, which i thought was a pretty good deal, but i bought the dynamo hub one instead.

I meant the SCs I think.
I have the clearance for the Stradas. The main thing putting me off if the cost and this review where they look a bit delicate:

I originally ordered the equilibrium disc 10 and test rode it the other day. I liked it even though it is relatively low spec build.
I have my voucher now but haven't spent it yet as I'm considering building either up from their frameset option as I have a group and I want a dynamo wheelset which means the cost of starting from scratch and the c2w voucher near enough equal out. hmm...
