Thats where i started off, I found a nice set for about £100. Then I wanted a SP dynamo, then I wanted 11 speed road cassette compatibility for the future. Then I spent loads of money!

I've just bought a shutter precision dynamo to go with which ever one i get. Currently trying to decide what rims to get, coming to the conclusion that all of them are pretty much the same and will all be fine.

Black hub, black rims and silver hubs is a legit combo. Isnt it?

what about disc specific rims available in 28 and 32 hole drillings. Then I can have the sp dynamo up front and something a bit stronger for the rear.

Commuting really rather than touring. My other wheels which they are replacing have been 32 spokes and are still nice and round. The cheap hubs also come in 36 as well so that's an option.

I was going for 28c tyres. I was looking at the cl25 as they are on offer at planet x. Haven't really looked at anything else but open to alternatives

shit, which courier is handling (or mishandling) this? My mate recently had a bike delivered to my house, the box was damaged and the driver told me he had marked it as such. The bike shop tried to claim from the courier and it turns out he just lied.

28 holes + 85kilos of me + 10kilos(ish) luggage = round wheels that stay round?

Looks like i missed the boat on the pacentis, only left in 28 holes which isn't loads for a big unit such as myself.
