My final comment :-I love this frame and I dont WANT to sell it I NEED to sell it. I have rent and a family to support. I honestly don't know how you think it should work - do you only ever sell for what you paid? How would that benefit the original seller?
Many people buy on here and sell elsewhere for a profit. Many ask high prices for the stuff on sale on here - who knows what they paid for it. I have sold lots of stuff on here for a loss or given it away as have many others.
I put it on Ebay for £1000 to take £800 min best offer minus Ebay and Paypal charges on item and post leaves about £675 . Which is about what they are worth.
I had no Idea it was of that sort of value until I saw the one Haveo bought and based my price on that.
Selling my frame is bad enough but selling for less than it's worth and then having to sell something else as well would be worse.
When I have money round me I buy stuff on the forum for what the seller asks and when I'm short I sell some stuff -sometimes I lose money sometimes I make -some bike stuff goes up in value very quickly some doesn't. -
So if you had bought it and needed to sell it you would make no profit whatsoever . Or you would have offered to pay more than was asked?
I don't want to sell it . I NEED to sell it so what would you suggest - I sell for less than I can get and then have to sell more of my stuff I want to keep to make the deficit?
How does me making money on it harm the seller?
Lots of people buy on here and sell for profit at fairs, etc . That means that sellers get their money quickly and can use it for what they want -this makes them happy. Do they really care if it is sold for more? It wouldn't bother me. But I'm not a bitter person.
So if the frame had been cracked and the hubs cracked and I'd lost out would you have made up my loss?
I don't understand what you think I should do? I paid what was asked, with my money and I can do whatever I want with what I buy.
Just answer this one simple question :-
Someone puts a Cinelli Laser on here for £100 and you get it. A short while later you have over spent and need to pull in some money so we all get to see a Cinelli Laser on Ebay for £115 do we???? Really? -
I'm not flipping it for profit - I need the money and have to sell. So what do I do -I sell for less than it's worth? I paid for it -it's mine - what possible concern is it of yours?
Ok so honest answer then :- If I offer it to you now for £10 and you need to sell it in a few months time you'll sell it for what , lets say £12 ? Really . NO of course not. It would be yours and you could morally sell it for whatever you wanted assuming you paid what was asked and didn't take advantage of the seller. You don't know how hard I had to work or what I had to sell to get the money to buy it in the first place. I could have been buying a damaged frame with cracked hubs etc - I took the risk.
Why do you feel the need to police what individuals buy and sell anyway? -
What are you - Stasi or something?
I need to pull in some money so I decide to sell whatever I want of my collection for however much I want.
I love this frame so why should I, when forced to sell, sell it for less than I can get.
I paid exactly what was asked.
The frame is nothing to do with Olympics but I still paid asking price.
Cranks were not NJS as stated but I still paid asing price.
Hubs were not NJS but I still paid asking price.
Now it's mine - I paid for it with my money and I regretably have to sell so why should what I do with it be of any interest to you? -

Hi,
Condition is good - some brake wear to front Mavic SUP. Rear (Mavic open 4) is mainly black from pads that will clean off. Both wheels need a good clean as they have dried grease on them etc but should clean up beautifully. Hubs are the excellent Shimano 105. Shimano 6 speed freewheel. Continental Super sport 700x20 tyres and tubes -again old but hold air and look good.
Both rims have same colour and profile.
As I said needs a good clean as just been unused for ages. I do have a skewer for front.
Rear is 126.
If you can collect from High Barnet (Northern Line) you can have them for £75.

I bought this Orbea or Zeus on here a while back but robbed the (non Orbea) forks.
Its fully chromed under pearl candy pinky colour repaint (not bad but not fantastic)
Very smooth prob newly fitted Bottom bracket.
Stamped Orbea and numbered on bb shell.
Can't be bothered to post but if someone wants to collect from High Barnet it's £30.
Prob worth more but I will seriously never get round to building it up.
PM please.
