Just started rebuilding my Colossi frame. I've found this frame in a cycleshop in the Netherlands and didn't knew anything about the brand or the builder, Jan Kole. I'v found out that the builder moved to china and started a frame building factory over there. I'm collecting nice dutch build bikes and got interested in the story of this builder.
When I contacted him about the frame he made the suggestion that he would restore it for me. So when he was back in the Netherlands for a family visit I brought it to him and he took it with him to China for the restoration. And now it came back last week and I could start rebuilding it for the Eroica in September. I'm going to use as many NOS parts for it including: NOS Shimano Arabesque group set, NOS Lepper titanium saddle, Benotto tape etc. I'l ry to post some pictures of the steps and the final result. -

Hi @liam-h,
I'm based in the Netherlands. I'll try to make some decent pictures today. It is however still in packed in plastic and foam.

I've got a brand new old stock MBK Mixte still in its plastic wrapping. In the correct size. I can send pictures tomorrow if you are interested. Sharp priced. Will be a lot cheaper than building one up. Here is a link to a gent's version to show you the condition it is in.
