Can the car driver not see eye-height lights?
No but then they'd have the normal height ones ( maybe a little lower which would be fine as they'd be positioned further back from the lights lowering the angle of elevation so they'd only be able to see it if they positioned correctly ergo they have to leave the asl free

Just had someone explain to me over facebook why we must tolerate things like Ian Tomlinson and Jean Charles De Menezes from the police because if we want their help then we must let them have their way sometimes and if a police officer doesn't feel like prosecuting a bad driver then that's fine alongside how it was wrong to say anything anti authoritarian on a public forum (i.e my mates profile) , literally feel like smashing my head violently against a wall right now but more likely I might just delete my facebook and spend more time on here

Are you really surprised by the specious nonsense he spouting now?
Yeah I'm not sure on the one hand there's that and the fact he has literally no reason in the slightest to advise on anything even remotely to do with cycling but then I wonder if Boris could really just appoint him like that surely not ?

Quick Google search revealed the claim average is 30-36mpg, that's pretty low for a diesel engine.
Why so low? I thought modern economical diesel can easily average 60mpg nowadays.
We get around 38mpg on a good day in our ford s max diesel and around 45mpg on the motorway so yeah it's lower but when you factor in that taxi drivers are cunts and drive like it then it's not so bad
