Unfortunately I've never been to the Alps during summer :( tend to save my holiday money for winterlels.

I'd imagine that 2 things will happen.

1. They'll break themselves elsewhere

2. Make dangerous modifications to existing trail that will break other people...

Is it red 21 that has some decent sized jumps in it? I steer clear of the last one as it always throws you into a corner with MASSIVE braking bumps.

I'd imagine that with no designated jump section in the forest geurilla jumps will begin to appear and they'll be far more dangerous and harder to manage.

This is basically the reason ski resorts have terrain parks, doubt this will last long.

And I never even got to do the big one :(

Couldn't they have just put a warning there? The jumps didn't seem particularly dangerous to me, just the nature of jumps really...

Yeah that's what I thought, I was set in going clipless all the time but then had a go in Aston hill and wasn't able to always get my feet out in time.

How pedally vs descendy are these rides usually?

I found that at Aston hill clipless R death but if there's a fair bit of pedalling I'll make the trade off.

For Epping I'd always go clipless tbh.

It was also awesome fun and great experience, my mate let me try his big bike and I convinced him to try my 29, unfortunately be bailed and snapped the mech hanger :P these DH lot don't know how to pedal...

Had one small fall, some sketchy moments, fast and rooty descents, got a little bit of air and a lot of sideways on the chalk. I won't be bringing clipless there again, had my feet out of the pedals for a fair bit of each run.

Hoping to death I can finally make this, will be a nice little warmup for bikepark Wales.
