My 6 year old wants to start snow boarding. He can already cross country, and alpine ski. Might pick up a cheap'n'nasty kids snowboard package for him. There's a small but decent resort less 3/4 hours drive from our house. Now that my 3 year old is getting into skiing we'll probably be there all the time over winter.
I had planned on getting a touring package I could also use on the resorts. Probably where the smart money would go.
Ended up with a heavy powder package. That doubt I could walk for more than an hour with. Darn my powder addiction. Gonna be fun though.

Mabie i'm part of the problem although i am highly aware of bikes of all kinds, my job has me driving 50% of the time so i do alot of talking while driving, but have a headset that answers so i never have to mess with my phone. (although i work through the night not day)
Bad drivers are bad drivers, it could be a phone, food or their own kids, if they can have their attention drawn away it will happen.
I think we still need the stickers though.
Yep stickers would still be a good warning for cyclist who see them to keep a wide berth.

I'm planning my first long (kinda) fixed ride to Cork in Ireland next summer, haven't planned a definite route yet.
The journey will be around 400 miles of riding (575 total), the first part is riding to Holyhead from london and pobably spend the night there, get an early ferry to Dublin in the morning and cycle down from there to Cork.
The most I have ridden fixed is only 52 miles and it was pretty easy, I think this will be a fun challenge.

Got scraped by a woman serving today, when I caught up to her at the lights I lol'd and she had a phone in her hand and looked to be reading something.
So she would rather put someone life at risk than wait till she was put of the car or at least at the lights to rea her messages!
Major wastegash!
I think I need some "warning bad driver on board" stickers to slap on the back of these cars... -

same thing happened to me,
I called TFL and they said keep it for a day if you need it and then just dock it whenever possible.
so I did.
sorted.
It is now returned but yeah kinda lame of them to tell you to keep it till he was charged.
dont know how far you are from a bike dock but to do nothing about it is just a bit silly. managed to do lots of things to keep yourself busy but havent done the one thing you/ your neighbour should have done fairly promptly (not for the drunked) but to return technially stolen property!
good luck with getting the Visp back. It may be sitting in one of your neighbours gardens, but they are too busy to tell you they took so it didnt get robbed! Then they see you have got a new frame so figure you dont need the visp back and would you adam n eve it they have a free frame... wow that turned out nice!
No expert but I do not believe it is stolen property once the item is payed for, it's not in anyone's garden and the bike is now returned, yes I should have returned it but as I said before I didn't know he would be fined and when I did it was too late.
Technically, you have just cost this guy an extra £150 with a non-return fee.
Yes I did technically but not intentionally, just through geting
On with my day to sort it
When I could.^cynic in me is thinking they said hang on to it just long enough that they can charge the guy full whack for the missing bike before it gets returned.
Yes I have along had seconds thoughs because now its returned the
Councils have the money for another bike and the original,
So they effectively got a free bike. -
