Not sure, but it was below zero last night and our pink rv stood up to it. I'll let you know what temp we start breaking them at as we've nothing else to use till the arrival of some winter balls.

I had ice forming on my tyres last night at polo. I think it's time to get some winter balls. But from where? They seem quite difficult to track down.

Please remember the Wheels, Seatpost, Saddle, Brake, Lever and Bars are not included.

Actually fuck it, whoever wants it can have the wheels and bars for an extra tenner (so total would be £50).

I've got 2 pomps. One is as shown above. The other doesn't seam to have one.

The liquid in the bottles is not a solid (obviously) and behaves very erratically when you swerve from side to side and will cause some balance difficulties, quite how much I am unsure, but being as though the bottles are placed quite high up above the center of gravity, the 'sloshing' effect could be unsettling and even dangerous.

I'm in total agreement. I've tried hauling a similar volume of liquid, on quiet roads, on a bike with a lower c of g and would never try it again especially around a city centre. A trailer or tricycle is what you need if you're gunna be pedal powered.

Wow. Its right tight. No real prob wi the toe/wheel clipping. Turns quick and managed to score afew goals for once!! Much better than I thought it'd be. Just need to stop the front wheel lifting when I accelerate too fast.
A front mudguard really ain't an option on a small pomp though.

^^ you did indeed. But it's no worse for it than the bent road frame I was riding before and I coped with that fixed. It feels much nicer to ride. Not sure it'll improve my game any though! :)

Thought it coulddo with another fresh thread so here it is.

I've just built up a small one to play polo on, and there's loads of toe clip on the front wheel with 28mm Tyres. Absolutly no chance of mudguards.

I'm 5ft 7" and ride a large with a 110mm stem and 10mm of spacers beneath it. The seat post is showing about 80mm. I find it comfy with just enough stand over height.

STOLEN - my grey Fleetvelo Joust...

Gutted to have to report that my grey Fleetvelo Joust has been stolen from my campervan in south Manchester this evening - pretty sure it's the only one in the UK. If anyone sees it for sale anywhere please let me know or buy it - I will reimburse.
There's a pictur on the thread. I'm sure someone may spot it.
