Pair of black original Shamal clinchers in great condition. 16 spoke rear, 14 front. Freehub will take 9/10/11 speed campy cassette I believe (I've been using with 11). Original skewers included + 1 gatorskin.
Bearings seem good, & not much brake wear.
£160 collected (NW6), if no takers will consider posting at buyers expense.
Photos soon!

Morning all, I'm just coming back from months off riding due to a knee injury. I splashed out on some new wheels to celebrate (50% off at wiggle) but wondering if a power meter might be a better idea (wheels haven't arrived yet, can send back to wiggle). Wanted to get some suggestions from the forum.
I have campy 11 speed (athena, silver) on my bike which I think limits options a bit as I'd prefer to keep the classic look. I've seen there are some campy-compatible cranks (FSA, Rotor etc) which work with crank arm based power meters, but they're usually a bit ugly IMO. The specific campagnolo P2M option is just too expensive unfortunately. I've seen the 4iiii power meter (if it's available in the UK) can go on one arm of my crank but apparently not both - and with my previous injury, I reckon I'll have a bit of leg imbalance, so this isn't great.
Ideally I'd want L/R leg readouts (to see how I'm doing with getting my right leg strong again). I know the garmin Vector can do this but I was planning to move to speedplay pedals as they seem to be the most knee friendly... I saw there was a speedplay-based system in development by Brim Brothers but no idea when this is going to be released...
Any suggestions???? Powertap?

I have some Chrome shoes which let you mount a recessed spd cleat. The way they're designed, I assumed they'd be fine to walk around on the street, at work etc. But on some surfaces (esp pavement) there's a lot of crunching from the cleat hitting the ground. Anyone have any way to stop this? e.g. are there any lower profile version of spd cleats?

Yeah, same happened to my gf's. But I don't mind it ending up looking that like that. All black would prob be slightly nicer but I couldn't find anything I liked. Was kind of trying to avoid carbon on this bike, + worried about compromising braking. Then there's mavic exalith, better than the archetype anodising but some people find it wears off, plus I don't like the big mavic spokes. Not keen on the campy / fulcrum equivalents either.
Should I stop worrying about braking in the wet & just get carbon?

Slightly odd request, maybe? I want to make this bike pizza carrier using an online laser cutting service like ponoko:
http://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/products/pizzarack-bicycle-pizza-carrier-tubus-logo--10131
Unfortunately the design is for the "Tubus Logo" rack, whereas I want it for a different Tubus rack - the "Fly", which is narrower. The guy has the laser cut design as an .svg file, so I think it should be relatively easy to modify. Unfortunately, I don't have any design experience, and I've just had a quick go using a program called inkscape, and struggling to get it right.
If there's anyone who'd be happy to do this I'd be really grateful. I'd pay you of course. I can provide the dimensions..

11-25 or -27 I guess best but others considered. Mrblue, I was hoping to spend less than a new chorus etc cassette, so imagine your record one might be a bit out of my range?
