There's a couple of low stress options close to home (London) coming up.

The East London Velo HC on Mott Street this Sunday, Eagle RC HC on Lippets Hill on the 22nd and the Lea Valley HC also on Mott Street on the 29th.

They're all turn-up-and-ride events so you just sign on and pay on the day, no results needed to get a race. I can only make the ELV one, hopefully see you there!

These frames aren't drilled for a rear brake so you'll need to run it fixed not single-speed. Miche primato get lots of h8 but they're fine, although I would get Omniums if I was you. Or Rotor$$$

Cyclist RLJ at Denmark Hill crossroads (near the park/station/hospital). All four ped crossings on green, with people crossing diagonally as well.

Cyclist was coming down the hill so going pretty quickly and swerved around people crossing. Ped shouts something to him and cyclist slows down and turns round to shout back. WAC

For some reason lots of motorcyclists struggle with this. I used to ride and would also cringe when someone flew past on a busy A road with their indicator still flashing.

I'm not moving house this weekend now so I can do this...

But I've never ridden Swains Lane and I'm not sure I'll get chance before next weekend. Would entering be stupid?
