Bought a second hand Fratello... waiting to replace groupset (new Tiagra 4700) and wheelset (DT Swiss R24)... plus mudguards and some finishing kit. At the moment it looks like this:

I will have soon a couple of Tiagra shifters 9 speed (soon because the next week I will change the gropset on my bike). Where are you based?

It looks like... but I dont know! But in this case the advantage would being able to build up in the next future another wheelset using the DT 370 hubs. Am I wrong?

Hi, Im after a wheelset for not more than 150 pounds, to use for commuting (leaving the bike sometimes locked) and be back in RR once a week. The ride is a Condor Fratello that with the new Tiagra 4700 groupset on the way.

So (stupid dream) light, strong and cheap wheelset... Yes I believe in flying elephants!!!

I arrived to consider:

Fulcrum Racing 7 LG (~£110)
DT Swiss R24 Spline (£139 on ROSE bikes)
Bontrager race (£149 from buyabike.co.uk, even if I do not know this website)
Pro-Build Chosen Hub/Alex CX28 (~150 on Merlin)

Was considering the Shimano range as well but I get confused with all the different models and they all seems to be max 20.8 mm wide.

Any suggestion please?

to run on my road bike with the new Schwalbe Pro One tubeless, in size 25. I ride to work with my bike and do long rides in the week end. Im quiet heavy (85 kg).

... Then Mavic release on the market the new KSYRIUM PRO, that I presume being 23 mm width (not able to find any info on the Mavic website about width), 1475 grams (so probably closed to the custom build I had in mind) and with 622x17C.

On their website they also presented the KSYRIUM PRO SL, lighter but 622x15C...

Do you have more info about the new wheelset? On the net different websites speak just about the disc version of these wheels... are they tubeless?
